Wow, Lefflerfan came so close to clinching at Texas but despite continuing his streak to a 4th straight week, comes up one point shy of clinching.

If Jeffjoeracing was able to pick the next two race winners, he would gain 75 points to give him a total of 547 points. Right now Lefflerfan has 546 points.

So basicly if Stephen can pick any top 10 driver he'll clinch next week at Phoenix. Also, if Troy does not pick the race winner, Stephen will also clinch. Since Troy has used favorites Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson, he'll have to pick someone else and hope they take the win. Also, he'll have to pick a different driver than Stephen of course. Stephen could automatically clinch if he picks the same driver, but he wouldn't do that, would he? Maybe we'll see some last minute strategies by both these members.

Texas was a mixed bag for the streakers this week. 7 members continued their streak while 9 saw theire streak end. Successful picks this week included Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth. Only TCB Racing was able to pick Carl Edwards, the race winner.

We saw a change in the top 5 take place as ICE moved past the dormant Bensonbdr23 who fell back to 5th place.

Well, next week will be a big one, we'll probably get out streak championship and see the first confirmed LROC driver for the 2009 season as well.
