Well, it was all but inevitable that we'd see it this week, but now it's official. Despite picking Clint Bowyer who missed finishing in the top 10 and ending his 4 week streak, Lefflerfan clinched the 2008 Streak To The Finish Championship.

Congratulations to Stephen who had a fine year! He came up short last year after finishing third but makes up for it this time out. He sets a new season points record too, but last year the game started in May. He tied the all-time longest record along with jeffjoeracing and ICE.

Stephen is now assured a spot in the 2009 LROC series where he will help the league win a championship hopefully. Stephen will also get a $25.00 gift certificate to NASCAR.com for winning.

Joesgot4 gave it his all and had a great year as well, but came up a bit short. Troy picked Kyle Busch who did finish in the top 10 and extended his streak to 5 weeks. Unfortunately it was not enough. Busch would have had to win the race to still give Troy a shot next week. Still, he is assured to finish in 2nd place and maybe even end the year with the current longest running streak of 6 weeks  if he can continue next week at Homestead.

Bensonbdr23 moved past ICE to take 4th back in the standings. He is now in a close race with President Lou for third. Seems these two are always in a close race with each other. Last year it was for the Championship.

So now we just have one more race left before the end of the year.

1st and 2nd are already spoken for, but 3rd, 4th and 5th are still up for grabs!
