So far it looks like everyone will most likely be returning next year in the Cup series. That means that we will only have one rookie next season, which is Chris Agerton.
Therefor, we won't be having a race unless another rookie joins in during the year. If that happens, the rookie battle will start fresh from that point.
There still might be a possibility of an opening or 2 because neither Earl Arnold, Jr. or Kevin Sullivan ever informed me of their intention to play again next year. I'm sure Kevin will come back, not sure about Earl though.
Well, no... he'll be considered the rookie of the year if nobody else comes up. However if someone does join during the season, the race will start from that point.
