2009 week 14 resuls - Lowe's (Cup/Nationwide)

Well, JT Motorsports keeps on making streak history as he takes his current Nationwide streak to 10 weeks and becomes the first member to hit double digits. JT took Jeff Burton who finished in 9th place which was good enough to extend it another week. He gained 52 points in the Nationwide segment and will look to ass to it with his Cup pick of Jimmie Johnson.

quebecois fan took his streak to 8 weeks also by picking Jeff Burton. He currently has the 2nd longest Nationwide streak and gained 42 points.

Crossmen has the third longest streak with 6 weeks and gained the third most points with 30.

We saw a couple of long running streaks come to an end this week as leader TCB Racing, Hunter4U9 and JG4TMR had their streaks end at 7 weeks.  TCB's streak ending will allow those members behind him to catch up more. Tooz, who is in 2nd place, could have capitalized on that, but his 1 one week streak ended as well.

7 members were burned this week and 9 successfully picked to extend their streaks.

Find out what happens in the Cup segment with the Coca-Cola 600!

Well the rain shortened Coca-Cola 600 played havoc with mostly everyone's streak picks in the Cup race.  Jimmie Johnson was heavily favored this week and ran in the top 10 nearly all day long but ended outside it after they pitted when that final caution came out.  Stewart and Biffle were also picked and burned a few others as well.

Only three of the 17 members this week managed to pick a top 10 driver thanks to Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne and Matt Kenseth.

It could have been a big week for some of the members up towards the top of the standings after leader TCB Racing failed to score any points this week.
Unfortunately for Tooz in 2nd place, he only managed 6 points.

Even though JT Motorsports didn't pick a top 10 Cup driver, his 10 week streak in the Nationwide series gave him 52 points and moved him up to 3rd place. Tooz better watch himself now, because JT is now 30 points behind him and ready to take 2nd away.

Should be a big week at Dover with all three series in action. Watch out as some members try to go 7 in a row in the Truck series.... and will JT Motorsports make it to 11 weeks in the Nationwide series?  Find out!
