Johnny Benson remains in the hospital in fair condition. He has some broken bones in both the upper body quadrants. He did receive a minor burn on his elbow. He is expected to make a full and complete recovery.
The Benson family would like to thank the fans for their well wishes and support along with the NASCAR community.
Yeah it stinks for what he had to go through this year especially coming off a championship. Hopefully we'll see him again in the Truck series soon, when he's ready.
