Those picks look pretty good except for in my opinion, two of your high dollar picks may be in trouble. First off Jr. is just plum mad and he's proven in the past that he does really dumb stuff when he's mad. As for J.J., he just as well borrow Casey Mears's car this week, after the trouble he's caused of late. For those who can't figure out what I mean. It has nothing to do with the Team Gnassi or Casey...just the Paint Job may fit what unfolds for Jimmy this weekend.
After all Darlington is to tough to tame and well known for bumpin and grindin at high speeds. I predict J.J. will be put out this week. I know I eluded to the same thing last week, but he took the rest of the field out before they had the chance.
My picks this week: Newman, J. Gordan, Nemechek(All-Star), Stewart, and Edwards.
No real reason on Front row Joe as my pick but he's ran decent here before and he always seems to kick it up a notch under the lights. The other picks are self explanatory I think.
One more thing: a big thumbs up to Darlington and the fans for selling out prior to raceday.
of course they would sell out this year..........its only one date. the racing at Darlington has never been an issue, the fact that there were about 6-7 tracks, all with 2 race dates for about thirty years (within a couple hundred miles of each other) is what caused them to not sell out all of the races.
poor planning by Nascar, not lack of entertainment.
