My miracle bid at making the playoffs this year is over. I will not be going for a shot at repeating, but alas, we have six very good contenders in the mix to fight it out.
The seeding is yet to be determined, but it seems the six playoff teams are pretty much set. (with apoligizes to Badass Bullies).
The six probable 2009 Playoff teams are: Lefflerfan J-Rods Nine Black+Gold YatesFan Indiana Underdogs Marlton Intimidators Rednex Road Warriors
Another interesting note is that all of these teams made the playoffs last year as well with the exception of Randy's team taking my spot.
Hopefully I can actually win a playoff round this year. Last year I won the regular season had a first round bye and then stunk up the joint. Maybe without a first round bye I can keep the momentum going.
I'm sure there will be a new champion in the football league this year too, I don't have that strong of a feeling this year.... Although I didn't last year either and I surprised myself. I think I'll be making some moves early on though.
It's gonna be a big Sunday between me and Marty...... we are currently tied right now.
I think if it ended as a tie right now I would get the victory because I checked playoff tiebreakers.... Lowest ERA is the first tiebreaker, so I'm just hoping my pitchers don't screw up.
