Dan Wheldon won Indy giving Michael Andretti his first Indy 500. He never won as a driver but won as an owner.
Danica Patrick finished 4th, couldv'e almost won it, but car kind of gave up at the end. She did become the first female driver to lead the Indy 500 though.
Ok enough Indy Racing.... time for the Coca-Cola 600!
I watched the last 45 laps and what I don't understand is they had a long caution and she didn't come in to get a top off of fuel so she could run power the rest of the way instead of conserving her fuel? They actually crowned the indy 500 winner on a caution? No green white checker? That was really lame.
One other thing......If I had to listen to the annoucer at the Indy 500 say...."there is 350,000 seats available because no one is sitting down!" I was gonna hurl. Geez man get a new line.
Track position,......... in her post race interview she was talking about how she got stuck ALL THE WAY BACK IN SIXTEENTH, so passing must have been at a premium much like Charlotte.
