With only 5 races remaining it looks like the championship is going to come down between two drivers.  THE GAME from Group 2 took the lead at California. (actually I'm not quite sure who heads this team up yet.... I have to email them to find out).

35 points behind them them is SOCAL Sprint Car#6 headed up by Ed Blackman.

Still a possibility but a lot further out is Bob Thomas's Doobster who is 159 points out.

The rest of the teams are more than 200 points behind.
