The long standing race between Jerry Jones Racing and Zipperhead Racing finally came to an end this weekend. Since last year, both teams had at least 1 driver lead during every race. Technically JJR was ahead since he had run 1 more race than Zipperhead, however he's out front alone as being the only driver in the league to have had drivers lead every single race since Zipperhead didn't have any drivers lead at Dover. It's now 44 races for JJR.
Dover cost a number of teams of 100% lap leading this year. Right now there are only 12 teams who still have 100% going. Rock Bottom Racing is now the 2nd longest running team.
I'm stil ticked off over the last reason of the season last year. During the entire year I had at least 1 driver lead each race until that dang Homestead Race. Oh well.... trying to keep my streak going again. Hopefully I'll make it through this year.
