Thats right. As long as they pipe EVERY single game into our livingrooms why pay. Its like clif said to, most transplants come with other favorites. ATL can be very dangerous after dark. My car has been broke into countless times at the Braves games. It just isn't worth it. Projects right across the street.

Still can't be as bad as Camden, NJ. Trust me, that's one place to stay away from. Parts of the city look like bombed out 3rd world countries.

Going through there in the day is bad, but at night.... unless you have a death wish don't try it.

Luckily I don't need to ever do down there much. Went to a concert once and there's the Camden Aquarium as well. Rutgers has a campus there too.

Speed Demon, Buy a Minute away from these boards! Did you hear me say the Mets were going to win the division this year? I only pointed out that the Braves, though consistently good, have failed miserably in the post season. As Steve knows, the Giants 2 Super Bowl rings are better than the 4 super bowl losses the Bills have.

Furthermore, you should not judge my performance in this racing league- as Lou can attest, I know little about it. Come to my league big shot and try to beat me in baseball or a real sport like football.

i do believe the topic got a little side-tracked here.

fact remains, in september, it will be the Braves looking forward while the Mets will be thinking about next year along with the White Sox (who can't even beat the lowly Cubs in win total for the year in how long?!!?)

as for the Atlanta sellouts or lack thereof........you guys got it all wrong......don't forget Atlanta is one of the Strip Club capitals of the world!.......thats where all the money is going! lol.

On a Thursday night against a team in the AL league where it doesn't matter.... you think any team could sell out??

Our point was when there are big games played.... playoff games or big rivalry games, Atlanta doesn't sell out.

Gee Lou, I thought they were all big games. Seems fans would like to see a different team that can't normally be seen. Going to see Oakland tonight myself. I still follow them. I was born in K.C. MO. and they were the KC A's till 1968. I remember going to a couple of games when I was but a pup! Looking forward to seeing them again. To bad they're horrible this year. Would have liked to have seen them last year when the big 3 was still intact.
