There is a bit of a change to the qualifying procedure to our All-Star race starting 2010. Previously anyone who won a race from the Daytona 500 to the Ford 400 the previous year and the races up to the All-Star race the current year were in, along with the past All-Star winners and 1st and 2nd place All-Star Open winner.

Since there are so many different winners in the Cup series, the council voted on a change to trim the field a bit. We will now take the winners from All-Star race to All-Star race. That means the winners before last year's all-star race will not be entered. Also we will only accept the winner from the All-Star Open, not the 2nd place finisher.
