Right now Georgia boy Mike Garvey faster than the DEI stable. jr.30th  Waltrip37th!! What the #@%*^*@ is goin on over there? Outside chance I'll still make the race in person. Believe it or not I'm (gulp) rooting for that organisation this weekend. I think after season changes will be far to late. Do it NOW!! Let the new guys get their feet wet. I personally believe this could factor in to Truex's decision to join them. It would affect mine if I were in Martin"s shoes. (Want a nice dream come true for me, racin Nascar. Oh well..back to reality) lol

Don't even pay attention to practice speeds at restrictor plate tracks. With people drafting, running by themselves, it's tough to see who really is the fastest. Plus even if you qualify crappy, it doesn't matter. You can start 35th and be leading the race by the 2nd or 3rd lap.

True enough lou. Never seen them THIS slow though. Great...got Waltrip superstarred this week so hope your right.

Of course they might not even get qualifying in today anyway. Raining again in Daytona.


Some of you may want to check that your driver will make the race if it's rained out. I don't think Kerry Earnhardt would be able to get in, probably not Kenny Wallace either.


In the Busch race Jr. should still be able to get in since he has that championship provisional to fall back on.


Remember, you have up until the deadline to make any changes.

Well looks like we might be ok for now. Took a look at the garage cam and it's clear and sunny right now. As long as nothing else moves in right away, qualifying should go on as planned for both series.

Why's that? Bad Q'ing draw? You said yourself Q'ing doesn't mean that much. Still like to see DEI pick it up here. As long as Super G finishes ahead of tiny.

Speedy my Jinx is iron clad this year....I need some to find me some black cats, break a mirror,drop some salt,walk under a ladder, finding a penny head down,maybe I ll get 13 tattooed somewhere.


 


I really think this is where DEI turns it around. This is his house and with Hendricks in their slump they should be prime tomorrow night.

couldn't agree more.


remember folks, DEI had terrible qualifying in Feb. and Jr. finished 3rd! Waltrip would have too except for blown motor. Truex stayed in top five all day until the last ten laps or so. No worries this weekend.

Ah...am I the only one watching HMS dominate the plate races the last few years. This WAS DEI'S house. If they want it back they better bring it. One more plate win and Super G ties Daddy E for all time plate wins! Dei's house...Not any more.
