Sorry it took so long but I just updated my Blog with some of my favorite images http://www.butterfieldphotos.com/Robert/ so please go by and check it out. I split the weekend into 5 posts, I have having serious separation anxiety to cram them all into one.
As most of you know already, I got an opportunity to work with an established Motorsports Photographer, Mark Rebilas and US Presswire at the Las Vegas NASCAR event a couple weeks ago. I cannot tell you how excited I was to get this shot and from the looks of things, it wont be the last. To stay in a Penthouse at the Bellagio is a great time in itself but to get full Media Credentials to a NASCAR event and work as a Motorsports Photographer is THIS Rednecks dream To work with one of the industries best as a student/intern isnt something that happens to everyone, so I must be living right. I cannot wait until the next time.
Lou....I'll send you some pics later today so you can post in here.

Those are some really nice pics Robert, thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a blast at Vegas, wish I was there! Someday I hope to be able to be lucky enough to get garage passes and get that close, but for now I'll just have to dream, lol.
The Neon Garage as they call it, is a great place for fans. They have the windows at ground level as well as up top to watch the crews and drivers, the whole area has big screens all over the place.... very fan friendly.

Thanks Leon, I have a blast doing it. Back when I shot film it was expensive but now, pixels are free!
I'll be posting some older stuff soon, the one year anniversary of the famous Manzanita Speedway dirt track closing after 58 years of action is coming up (11 April) and I shot there back in 2006 and want to put something up.
I'll keep ya'll posted.
