#47 Bobby Labonte

Get used to seeing that (#47 Bobby Labonte), as he was announced today as the driver of the 47 beginning in 2011.

Do you think this is a good move? I think it'll be the best team he's been with for a while... but I think he's lost a little of his ability. I hope he proves me wrong, I really do.

How do you think Ambrose will do in the #9 car? He's a good driver... but only at Bristol and the Road Courses.

These days, any move for Labonte is better than the recent rides that he's been in. The #47 car is a lot better than the #09 or #71 for sure.

As for Ambrose.... he's no Kasey Kahne so it'll be a downgrade for the #9 team.

Labonte guarantees a starting spot. Yes the 47 is a much better car for Bobby.

not so sure about that Lou, I think I would pick Ambrose over Kahne if I were an Owner.....at least Marcos has an upside talent wise.......Kahne is just a sponsor's darling puppet.

Hmm, how many wins does Ambrose have?

Doesn't hurt that Kahne is a sponsor darling to sell t-shirts. Money is what drives the sport after all. Doesn't hurt that he actually wins races too.
