Since we need to be a bit more technical in the rules, I changed the wording of "if a driver gets injured and cannot make the race that weekend, you will get the points of the substitute driver to "if a driver gets injured or by some other circumstances cannot make the race that weekend".
I also removed the rule that said if you choose a driver one week, don't change your picks, and another driver is in the car next weekend (who is listed on the race entry list) you will get the points of the substitute driver. Since the Busch Series isn't like that, neither should the Cup Series. Although it doesn't happen quite as often as the Busch Series.
I may be beating a dead horse here, but where in the rules does it say that if you pick a driver that fails to qualify in his car but is asked to replace another driver should you get his points even though you had no idea that he would be the replacement driver for the other team?
