There's never been any weapons of "mass destruction in Iraq. Isn't that why we invaded? My friends keep dieing.... seems to me, if you check the records the southern boys are the ones defending this Country. Why? Where are the yankees?????? THe record is very clear on this issue. However, your views are a bit clouded with the uhh..... Yankee boys. First of all, the Civil war is over, so you can stop referring as people who live in the Northern states as that.
Second, I know of a lot of guys in this area who have gone to Iraq and a lot of guys who have been killed. I'm always reading in the paper about some local guy who was killed in action serving his country.

Thanks, Thursday we're leaving and going up to NC for a couple of days. We'll still be in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday. I'll be checking my email while on vacation though.

OK my first thought is we are all dying over there and coincidently(probobly spelled wrong) most of them are in the south because the south just happens to have more fighters. Who cares, everyone is dying the same and it dont matter where you come from and i wouldnt know if weapons of mass destruction are why we went there but i know thousands of people FROM THE NORTH died in the trade center attacks and thats why we went there to beat the S*** out of bin laden and the rest of his men
Speedy, sorry to hear about your lost. You can imagine the horror I felt with my wife working at the airport that day and watching the Towers go down. Then trying to stay focused at getting all the aircraft back to the game and all the people evacutated out of the building. One of the plane left from Newark so the Feds were all over this place. Her best friend's husband was in the second tower that day. The last thing John said was "Honey, you won't believe this but a plane just hit the tower. I'm okay I'm in the other tower on the 102 floor."
You know I was talking to my father about this war and what is going on in the world. He said that there is something like 15 generations since American was formed. The first 13 would of nuked them on Sept.12. without blinking an eye and it would of been over with. Now, if you believe this(like I do) they call you a maniac on the news and say you're an extremist just like they are. amazine I have to agree with you. There are plenty of boys from up this way serving. My friend at work just got back after 12 months in Irag and there has been many boys lost. I think the problem is we don't here about the ones out of our area. As far as Bush given the choices we had I think he is the best choice.
