With the new points system, we are also altering are points for drivers who are not in the field. Previously you would have -10 points removed if a driver did not make the field either from failing to qualify or you had someone in your lineup from the previous race who was not in the upcoming race.

Now its more simplifield, if a driver is not in the race, you don't receive any points for him. Simple as that. Since there are no more negative points in the field, we can set it at zero.

This is in effect across all three series.

The only difference is for Truck series segment drivers. These picks are scored differently and their points structure also changes.

Here is the new setup of bonus points for Truck segment drivers. These are added to the regular points they receive.

3 points for winner
2 points for top five
1 point for top ten
-1 point for 21-30
-2 point for 31-36
-5 points for not in the race
