This week it was easier to pick in the Cup race than it was in the Nationwide race. In fact only those members who picked Dale Jr. in the Nationwide race got points this week.
The top score for the week went to one of last year's players who was gunning for the championship. Ray Perrotta scored 57 points with his picks of Clint Bowyer in the Cup race and Dale Jr. in Nationwide. He is now where he spent most of last season, in 2nd place in the standings. Instead of chasing Stephen DiCaprio he's now chasing Gary Wheat.
Finishing 2 points behind Ray is Ron Blackman who gets the 2nd highest score with 55 points. He went the Earnhardt-Earnhardt route. Both Ron and Ray are tied with the lonest Nationwide streak at 7 weeks now. He moves up 4 spots to 4th place in the standings.
The 3rd highest score goes to Terry Howell with 40 points. He also picked Earnhardt in both races.
6 members were successful with both picks this week while 7 were successful with just 1 of the 2. 2 members were unsuccessful with both their picks including Dean Higley who was in 2nd place but has now dropped to 3rd.
Well, scratch that score for Ron Blackman..... In preparing the picks form for next week, I just saw that he used Dale Earnhardt Jr. again in his current streak. He used him back at Bristol. That erases his Nationwide streak and changes his score from 55 points down to 17 points. I will adjust the standings tonight.
Once again, please double check the drivers in your current streak!
