Well, if last week was bad, it didn't even compare to what happened this week at Pocono and Texas. Only 2 members managed to gain any points this week, Gary Wheat and Mitch McCown. everyone else had zeroes all around. It was a new record for members being shut out in a single week.
Not only did Gary gain points, but he was successful in both races. He took Juan Montoya in the Cup series and James Buescher in the Truck series. Since leader Ray Perrotta was shut out, Gary was able to gain 31 points on him and close within 30 for the points lead. He'll have the chance to take the lead next week at Michigan.
Mitch McCown gained 18 points after picking Kyle Busch in the Cup series.
