The thing that really got me was all the dang commercials at the first part of the race. They would show 6 or 7 laps go to commercial and then come back go another 6 or 7 laps then commercial again.
I was looking on jayski.com for the breakdown and they had 122 commercials for a grand total of 62 mintues of commercials. It was like the 3rd longest mintues of commercials this year.
Yeah RaceBuddy is neat when it was working....it could have been my computer, but it kept freezing up. Also, what was the big deal about the extra microphones they kept talking about? It sounded like every other race to me.
They have so many commercials to make up for their "wide open coverage" at Daytona. Which has so many commercials at the bottom of the screen, that it's pointless. But Kentucky is just another 1.5 mile boring track. See: Kansas, Fontana, Michigan, Las Vegas, etc....They need to change up something because these races lately (outside of Daytona and Sonoma) are putting me to sleep.
Could be worse I guess. At least I didn't try to attend the race only to be turned away cause there was no parking, lol.
BYe BYe Kentucky!!!!! Will this be the first and Last race at Kentucky for the Cup series??? Nascar got major problems to fix before next year. Hope nobody didnt go to the race Saturday night, or you would had been in the 5 to 6 hours of traffic.

Heck no, not as long as it sells out like it did. They will work on the traffic issues before next season hopefully. Now only if they can work on the racing there.
Whenever we go to track, we are there at the crack of dawn (for afternoon races). We've only been to one night race which was at Daytona, but we were there eary afternoon I believe. We always make a day of it or a whole weekend of it!

Nascar needs to **** can Kentucky, another boring 1.5 mile track... Add another short track or road course track, or better Nascar needs to Bring back Rockingham. The ROCK always sold out, and NC needs another race track besides Charlotte. BRING BACK THE ROCK!!!!!!!!!
