What a difference one week makes. After it looked like Lou Demian could possibly clinch at Phoenix, he missed with both picks and Gary Wheat was successful with both of his. That means that Gary could overtake Lou at Homestead and win the Championship. He is just 21 points behind. Both players don't have a Truck streak so Gary couldn't win there, but as long as Gary is successful in the Nationwide series, he will win. Gary currently has a 5 week streak there. If he makes it with his Nationwide pick, he will score at least 31 points, overtaking Lou.

Gary also has a 2 week Cup streak, if he misses with his Nationwide pick, but is successful in the Cup race, he'd score at least 16 points. Not enough, so he would have to be score more points than Lou in the Truck race.

There are lots of possibilites, but obviously the Nationwide race will be the key to find out who will win the streak to the finish championship this year.

This past weekend, Ron Blackman scored the most points with a total of 60. Stephen DiCaprio had the 2nd most with 53 while Gary Wheat, Greg Eichele and Natalie jones were tied with the 3rd most of 52 points.
