It was a strong possibility that Daytona was going to play havoc with the streaks this week and that turned out to be true. Both races turned out to be devestating for everyone, all those long streaks are now history.
Only 4 players managed to make it through the Nationwide race and 2 in the Cup race.
That means the all-time Nationwide streak remains at 15 weeks and will remain tied by 4 players.
The top 4 players in the standings did not score any points so there wasn't any ground gained there.
The top score of the week went to Randy Cook with 32 points who managed to stretch his Nationwide streak to 5 weeks. He now has the longest running streak.
Ray Perrotta was 2nd with 24 points who was the only player to be successful in both races.
Greg Eichele was 3rd with 18 points. With just a 2 week Cup streak, he has the longest running streak in that series.
Looks like everyone will have to begin to build their streaks again.
