Some people were probably looking at Talladega to be the race that ended the streaks of Jessy Turgeon who had been closing in on Lou Demian over the past several weeks, but it turned out to be Dover that killed him. After picking Sam Hornish Jr. in the Nationwide series, that ended his 11 week streak. With just 7 weeks left he'll now have to worry more about losing 2nd place than trying to win the championship.
The high score of the week went to Paul Scannell who scored 97 points. It was the largest score for the week since 3 members broke 100 points in week 18. Paul has a 1 week Cup streak, 8 week Nationwide streak 5 week Truck streak. He was also able to gain one spot in the standings to move to 6th.
Lou Demian was able to score the 2nd most points with a total of 66. He was able to gain back a lot of points that lost over 2nd place the last few weeks. He has a 4 week streak in both the Cup and Nationwide series and 2 week streak in the Truck series. He now has a 195 point lead over 2nd place.
Chip Anglin took 3rd place with 66 points. He has a 2 week streak in Cup and Truck series and a 4 week one in the Nationwide series.
This week 5 members were successful in all three series, 6 members were successful in two, 2 members were succesful in just one and 1 busted out all around.
Next it will be Talladega for the Cup and Truck series so we'll find out who has the luck there.
