The council voted and approved on this change that will affect the Cup series only. Starting next season, members will only be able to miss with picks in the Cup series three times during the season. If they miss more than three times, a member from the Nationwide series will be called up to replace them.

The member that is removed from the Cup series will have the option of racing in either the Nationwide or Truck series if space permits. If space does not permit, they can be placed on a waiting list. If they race in the Nationwide series they will have a chance to eventually be called up again to the Cup series someday.

The Nationwide and Truck series will still keep the current process of 5 misses or 3 in a row before being removed.

To try and help allieviate some of the missed picks, the league will change its normal deadline of 10:00pm to 11:59pm when possible. Picks will then be posted sometime the next morning.
