Both Lou Demian and Randy Cook were able to escape from Daytona with their long Nationwide streaks intact after both picking Kurt Busch. Lou missed with his Cup pick but extended his Nationwide streak to 13 weeks. Randy Cook was able to start a new Cup streak after picking race winner Jimmie Johnson and extended his Nationwide streak to 10 weeks. As a result, both scored a total of 72 points which was the high score of the week.
Ed Blackman is trying to keep Randy Cook behind him in the standings, even though he lost more points to him again, he kept the damage to a minimum by extending both of his streaks. He has a 4 week Cup streak and 5 week Nationwide streak. He also scored the 2nd most points with 56. The bad thing for Ed is that Randy is now just 2 points behind for 2nd place.
