With the triple race weekend we were ready to see some big points swings and it happened with two members. Jeff Nieser was able to score the most points and move into the top 5 and Ray Perrotta was able to extend his points lead.
Jeff has been steadily extending all three of his streaks and climbing up the standings as well. This week he scored a total of 124 points which is the highest points total this year. It's actually the 2nd highest points total in the last two seasons. This week he went with Kenseth, Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon. Jeff's Cup streak is now at 7 weeks, He is now one of three members who will try to tie the record next week.
After taking back the points lead last week, Ray Perrotta was able to extend his lead after scoring the second highest score of 107 points. While Lou Demian and Dean Higley saw their longest Nationwide streaks end this week, Ray was able to keep his going. He has brought it to 15 weeks and is now one week away from tying the all-time record. Bad thing for Ray is that he'll have to try to tie it at Daytona.
Finishing in a distant 3rd place this week is Troy Wiggins who picked Kyle Busch in all three races. He scored 82 points. So Troy, Jeff Nieser and also Randy Cook are all at 7 weeks with their Cup streak. They'll all be looking to tie it at Daytona which will be difficult to say the least.
