There were some lost opportunities mainly in the Cup and Truck races at Indianapolis and Eldora, only about half of the picks were successful. Johnson was a big bust in the Cup race while Kyle Larson put on a heck of a show in the Truck race but in the end crashed out. That ended up helping points leader Ray Perrotta despite picking Larson. That's because Lou Demian, who is in 2nd place, also picked him. He had the chance to really close in but instead saw his 9 week Truck streak end. He added some points with his Nationwide pick but picked Johnson in the Cup race. In the end, Ray Perrotta gained 2 points on him.
The high score of the week in a triple race weekend was just 47 points which was recorded by Greg Eichele. Greg was the only one who managed to successfully pick in all three races. He went with Gordon, Kyle Busch and Sauter.
Gary Wheat took 2nd with 43 points while Jessy Turgeon took 3rd with 41 points.
Despite the relatively low success rate this week, there was nobody who missed out in all three races.
Next week all three series are in action again at Pocono and Iowa.
