Picking Matt Kenseth wasn't a very good thing since he ended streaks in both the Cup and Nationwide series. It hurt points leader Ray Perrotta who was trying to add to his lead but struck out in both series after picking Kenseth in both races. He now has a point lead of 102 points without any running streaks.
It also hurt Dean Higley who was trying to take over 2nd place but struck out in both series. It also hurt Gary Wheat who saw a 10 week Nationwide streak end.
The high score of the week went to Jessy Turgeon and Ron Blackman who both scored a total of 63 points. Jessy and Ron were able to stretch their Nationwide streaks to 9 weeks, the longest running now. Both members were able to gain a spot in the standings.
Jeff Nieser had the 3rd highest score with 38 points. He missed with his Cup pick but now has a Nationwide streak of 6 weeks.
