The points were close at the top heading into Auto Club Speedway, but Dean Higley was able to give himself a bit of a cushion afterwards. Dean is the only member to stay perfect in the Cup and Xfinity series, stretching both streaks to 5 weeks. He went with Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski and as a result scored the most points this week with 57. He now leads by 29 points over Lou Demian.

6 of the 16 players were able to successfully pick in both races, most of the misses came in the Cup race.

Greg Eichele and Jeff Nieser got out of California with both the streaks intact. Greg had the 2nd most points with 49 and Jeff had the 3rd most with 48.
