Well, Jessy Turgeon was able to do it at Darlington. After picking Joey Logano, he stretched his Xfinity streak to 16 weeks, becoming the 2nd player to do it this season and the 4th of all time. Now he will have the chance to break it next week at Richmond. We saw the Cup streak finally broken this year, we may just see the Xfinity streak broken as well.
Jessy also was successful with his Cup streak and of course recorded the most points for the week. He scored 106 points and closed within 5 points of taking over 2nd place next week.
In 2nd place with 83 points is Al Allison. He was successful in both races and was able to stretch his Xfinity streak to 13 weeks. After Ron Blackman saw his 12 week Xfinity streak end, Al now has the 2nd longest running streak.
In a distant 3rd place with 59 points is Troy Wiggins, he now has a one week Cup streak and nine week Xfinity streak.
Well after a couple of people pointed out to me which I missed, Al Allison used Joey Logano twice in his streak. It was a costly mistake which saw Al end his 12 week streak and instead of recording 83 points, scored just 13 this week.
That gave Troy Wiggins 2nd place with 59 points and Dean Higley takes 3rd with 52 points.
