As usual, making picks at Daytona was pretty rough. If it wasn't for the Xfinity race, there would be a lot more zeros across the board. Nobody was successful in all three races but we had 7 players get 2 out of 3. The highest of those players was Gary Wheat who picked Kasey Kahne in the Xfinity race and John Hunter Nemechek in the Truck race. He scored 22 points and starts on top of the standings.
Troy Wiggins scored 24 points and finished in 2nd place after picking Joey Logano in the Cup race and Kahne in the Xfinity race. Logano was the only successful pick in the Cup series. He was picked by 5 players including Stephen DiCaprio who finished in 3rd with 23 points.
We had 10 players successful in one race and unfortunately 5 struck out all around.
Hopefully next week at Atlanta will be a little kinder to the streakers in week 2.
