Kevin Sullivan had a very comfortable lead coming into Homestead, he only needed to extend at least 1 of his streaks and he was successful in all three races. Lou Demian had taken 2nd place but ended his Xfinity streak after 9 weeks so there would have been no way that he could have caught Kevin.
Kevin wins the 2017 Streak To The Finish, his first title in this game. He ended the season with 1709 points which was actually the lowest score in the past 6 seasons. He was able to set a new Cup series streak record along with Gary Wheat of 10 weeks. He owned the longest streak of anyone in the league of 13 weeks in the Xfinity series. He becomes the 6th different champion and first new one since Ray Perrotta won in 2014.
Kevin will now receive an invitation to the LROC Series, a special award for his driver page and a $25.00 gift certificate to Amazon
Congrats to Kevin and thanks to everyone for playing this year. Hope to see you return in 2018
