Well, Lou Demian did all he could to try and overtake Ray Perrotta at Homestead. He was successful with all of his picks, but so was Ray. Ray went with Truex Jr, Custer and Crafton to score 77 points while Lou scored 90 points. Ray finished the season by 50 points over Lou Demian to win his 3rd streak to the finish. That puts him into a tie with Lou Demian for most streak titles.
Lately it's been a huge margin of victory for the streak titles with it being decided a couple of weeks before the end of the season. In fact it's been that way every year after the 2011 season. This year it went down to the wire and we had a few different leaders during the season.
Ray ended the season with the longest truck streak of the league with 12 weeks while his Cup and Xfinity streak both went to 6 weeks. No streak records were broken by anyone this year.
In the final race, it was Janet Sebern who scored the most points with 108. She picked two race winners, Kyle Busch and Reddick along with Eckes. It was her biggest total of the year and allowed her to gain 2 spots in the final week to finish in 6th place.
That's the end of another season, the top 5 players were:
Ray Perrotta in 1st place, Lou Demian 2nd, Kevin Sullivan 3rd, Jessy Turgeon 4th and Ron Blackman 5th.
Congrats once again to Ray and thanks to everyone for playing this year. Hope to see you back in Daytona!
