Well, this week we have a new Cup streak record. For the first time in 5 years, the record of 10 weeks was broken and it was done by Jessy Turgeon. The previous record was shared by four different people, including Jessy last week. Now Jessy has the record all to himself as he extended it to 11 weeks after picking Christopher Bell. He also picked Allmendinger in both the Xfinity and Truck series. He was was successful in one of the two after Allmendinger suffered mechanical issues in the Truck race. It was enough to give him the high score of the week of 74 points. He also moved one spot up to 5th place in the standings. Jessy has the new record but he will try to add even more to it, making it all that much harder to catch him in the future.
Ron Blackman took 2nd place with 59 points. He was successful in all three series after picking Kyle Busch, Allmendinger and Hill.Ron was able to gain a spot in the standings and move up to 9th.
In 3rd place it was Robert Krohn with 54 points. He was also successful in all three series after picking Kyle Busch, Gibbs and Nemechek. he gained two spots to move to 12th place.
Stephen DiCaprio still holds the points lead, he lost just 10 points to Lou Demian this week. Lou could have taken it over but saw his 9 weeks Truck streak come to an end because of Allmendinger's issues.
Amazing to set a new record after all those years of playing the game, especially with all the knowledgable players roaming over here. Finally a noteworthy highlight to my fantasy year!
