Concluding the Texas race weekend, it's pretty clear that Stephen DiCaprio really doesn't need to worry about Lou Demian catching him at the end of the season, however he does have new competition that is going to be a serious threat. Gary Wheat has closed within one point of 2nd place after he had the high score of 55 points this week. Gary picked both race winners and his Xfinity streak is now at 6 weeks. It will be key for Gary to continue with his Xfinity streaks for the next three weeks, if he does then he could be able to pass Stephen and win the championship.

Stephen had a good week himself, he had the 2nd most point with 43. His Xfinity streak is at 4 weeks so he will need to keep that going as well. The two players are now separated by 53 points and a 2 week difference in the Xfinity points will determine who is able to finish as champion. Also, when the Truck series restarts, Gary has a one week streak active as well.
