This year's championship went down to the final race of the season, but Stephen DiCaprio did not have to worry about it too much. He had a pretty comfortable lead over Gary Wheat and unless there was a complete meltdown, he'd win the championship. That's what happened too, Congrats to Stephen who wins the 2021 championship!  In the final race, Stephen was successful in all three races to score 43 points. He ended up outscoring Gary who ended up missing with his Xfinity pick.

Gary ended up losing 2nd place as Lou Demian took it back in the final race. So in the end, Stephen wins the championship by 43 points over Lou. 

This is the 4th time that Stephen has won the championship, he won it in 2008, 2010, 2015 and now 2021.

Stephen's total points scored were 1202 which isn't breaking any records but it was more scored than last year's champion Terry Howell with 1181 points. His longest Cup streak was 6 weeks, Xfinity and Truck were both at 8 weeks.

In the final race, Janet Sebern finished with the top score of 59 points. She went with Larson and Nemechek twice. Jessy Turgeon and Ray Perrotta tied for the 2nd highest score of 53 points. Ray was able to gain one spot in the final week to finish in the top 10.

This year's longest Cup streak belonged to Jessy Turgeon with 11 weeks which set a new season record. The longest Xfinity streak was 10 weeks by Janet Sebern. Lou Demian had the longest Truck streak at 9 weeks.

So once again, Congrats to Stephen who will win a $25.00 Amazon giftcard along with a spot on the 2022 LROC team.
