Yes, looks they finally got their butts in gear. I was impressed by the Cardinals win since St. Louis is a good team, especially at home.

I doubt they will catch the Mets but they could make a run for the wildcard. Would be interesting to see a Mets-Braves matchup in the playoffs.

The mets are a lock, probably the only one since the East is so weak this year. Braves babies still need to stay focused and desperately need bullpen help, another starter would be nice but with our new owners all those leaks won't be plugged. Hopin mr. S will work his magic again.

SCREW THE WILDCARD! That's for the second place in our division (mets). Just remember, this time last year, the *ahem, the Nationals were in the lead in our division.

and Lou, maybe you missed it, but the Braves lead the Cards this season (after tonight) 4-1 so far.

Chipper is batting over .560 for the month of July!!! as well as tied the record for consecutive games with an extra-base hit........one that has stood since the twenties!

The Braves may keep winning but so do the Mets.

You can score 100 runs in a game but as long as the Mets keep it up, it won't matter too much since you'll be going for the Wildcard.

Contrary to your belief, the Mets are not slowing down.
