Well the wife and I will be flying out of Pittsburgh tonight at 8 heading to Atlanta for the race. A qiuck train ride and Speedy dan will pick us up to be our host for the weekend. I've been to Daytona before for speedweeks but this will be our first offical race attended. I'm sure speedy will let me use his computer to add to this thread as the weekend goes. Marty
Well, Speedy overslept and Yatesfan W/wifey drove around for a bit in a cab..till Speedy got his shyte together "How embarrassing". Went and rocked out for a bit till 2 am. Rookies!! Tomorrow will be a thrill packed day. Many pics wil be sent to LD. Guess Lou will decide which are worthy. Keep in mind..many things happen during race week. Peace.

Well speedy took us to downtown atlanta for the tour, and we saw the Georgia dome,phillips areana,and went to a race gathering at centenial olyimpic park. the race stuff was a bunch of cars and trucks and lots of free handouts. the 31 car gave a backpack stuffed with a cup holder, six pack cooler, water bottel, ticket holder,and a huggie all with the 31 logo and get this, a 1-24 scale diecast 31 car with working hood,trunk, and roof flaps. Speedy says it's a 70 dollar car all for an e-mail address, how sweet!!! Might go over to Stone Mt. to see the sights later. L8R Marty

Blew off Stone Mountain. Ladies went to the mall, We went to the Pink Pony and made some "new"friends!" Ate and drank till late. Washed the truck. We're set! Now on to the Main Event.
