As a league operator myself I do not like to openly criticize leagues. However, this league has totally gone downhill and with several LDR member that are in this league, let me just warn them. I guess because of the controversy that went down here a few weeks ago with JJR combined with my personal strained relationship with John, operator of the PFL, life has been not very fun for me over there.

I don't want to turn this into my own personal soapbox but I've been criticized, publicly humiliated and made into an outcast there. First there was all the fighting that Shawn brought to the boards there. Yes, I retaliated from anger to some of the posts and have been criticized that I should just let it drop. Even when I tried, they were still throwing their shots at me. Eventually I just deleted my name off the board, hoping things would just eventually stop. Of course not, there are still shots thrown at me even though I do not participate on the boards any longer. That wouldn't be that bad, however what went on with the boards leaked over to the league itself.

I find this TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL in regards to a league operator but here's what's going on now. My team page was just deleted for "an overhaul" as was described to me by John. Nothing else in that explanation. Funny how no other team page was getting "an overhaul". First some stupid picture appeared where my team page used to be. Then there was a new team page with a PFL2 member replacing mine. It showed he'd be starting this week and had my remaining schedule one it. I repeatedly asked John what was going on.... Was I being kicked out of the league for some reason? I wasn't doing anything over there except submitting my picks. My guess is that it's somehow related to what happened here, although both leagues should be separate. That's how I treat them. How would someone like it if their page just "disappeared" and I refused to tell them what was going on.

He never bother answering me what was going on with my status. I emailed him, messaged him for 2 days. Nothing. I told him that I would be leaving the league at the end of this year because I was tired of dealing with the crap there. Why should one member be treated so unfairly? I wanted to finish the season since I'm doing good there. Just wanted to make my picks each week and finish the season, is that so bad? Why should someone be kicked out of the league for that?

I was even told by John that I should not email the bureau with my concerns. Isn't that what the bureau is there for? If it's run anything like the council over here, any member can message any council member or myself with their concerns or questions. Never feel like you can't voice your opinions. Things may not always turn out the way you want but we will always consider an idea and put it to a vote. Please never feel like you can't talk to someone here. I treat everyone with respect contrary to what a couple people might say. Even though I do not care for John, I also treat him with respect when it comes to being a member in this league. I let him make his picks with no problem and do not tamper with his page and make him look stupid. What happens on the boards should not conflict with actual league operations either.

At any rate, I emailed the bureau again trying to find out what my status is. I don't know about his league, but I have never and would never force someone out of the league because of a difference of opinions. Every team that has left here over the years has done so by their own choice.

Here's the real icing on the cake... this morning someone submitted a bogus set of picks under my name, because I received the confirmation mail. It was sent at 7:19am. I was still driving to work at that time and didn't get online until nearly 8:00am. I made my picks yesterday. So now we are moving into sabotaging picks.... I also raised this concern to the bureau over there.

So just a warning.... if you decide to stay in that league, watch yourself. there's fishy stuff going on over there. Make sure you check your picks each week carefully. Also, if you ever get on the wrong side of the commish, watch out.... you will be find yourself on a bumpy road that leads out of the league.
