Atlantic City, NJ October 27, 2006 . . . “The show this year could set new records.” said event organizer Len Sammons. He was talking about his popular Motorsports 2007 presented by VP Racing Fuels which has moved to Atlantic City’s Convention Center and will run January 12th through 14th, 2007.
The show, offering just about anything imaginable in motorsports, will fill more than 275,000 square feet of show space. “Even though we got a later start promoting the show because of our move, our booth sales are running 50% ahead of previous years,” said Sammons. “Those planning to be a part of the show should be calling show manager Joe Pratt to reserve space. It is going quickly and there are a lot of new exhibitors.”
It will be a huge motorsports weekend with the Atlantic City Gambler’s Classic Indoor Races being presented on the same weekend at the nearby Boardwalk Hall.
The indoor auto racing, featuring Three Quarter Midgets and 600 Sprints as the headliners, will be in action on Friday, January 12th and Saturday, January 13th.
Fans can save some money by purchasing their tickets for the indoor races in advance and there is group rates information available at 609.348.7021.

This is going to be a fantastic family entertainment weekend.”

I can't wait to see what this show will look like this year. We've been going to it for several years in Fort Washington, PA but with the move to Atlantic City, it should be huge. Time to start saving money now! I'm curious to see what drivers they will have in attendance for autograph signings. They usually have about 4 big name Nextel Cup drivers every year, but for the first year in AC, maybe even more. I wonder if any of them will participate in the midget races. If you're in the area, you should definately check this out.
