Have heard that Miller Motorsports will make a return to Lucky Dog Racing in 2007? (11/19/06)

A day after clinching their second consecutive Lucky Dog Cup, Miller Motorsports officials announced today that the team WILL be returning to the Lucky Dog Cup Series in 2007. No word on sponsors for the team, or if they will be running the same number. Greg Miller will continue as the lead driver, and will go for his 3rd consecutive championship in the series.
"I have enjoyed my time in the Luck Dog Series, and it would be stupid of me to walk out, for whatever reason, as a champion two years in a row. To not return to defend my two championships didn't seem logical, and after a long talk with the team, we have decided to return for 2007. The way 2006 ended was not what we had hoped for, and I think everyone will use the offseason to put all of the hard feelings behind them." said Greg Miller. UPDATE 2: Sponsor?
Hearing that even after a strong run in 2006, where the team took the championship, primary sponsor Captain Morgan.com and associate Shaw's Supermarkets will not return as sponsors on the #212 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS.
Hearing that Pepsi will step up from the Associate role to be the full time primary sponsor in 2007. TheCoolPool.com will continue as an associate sponsor, and will be located on the rear decklid and the back of the car. RustyLugnuts.com will climb on board as another associate sponsor, and will help bring Miller Motorsports their 3rd championship in as many seasons. (11/20/06)
